arrow  Members

Members shall be those who possess M.B.B.S or equivalent qualification recognized by the Pakistan Medical And Dental Council, a postgraduate qualification in Pathology / Haematology / Transfusion Medicine recognized by the Pakistan Medical And Dental Council and show the evidence of active work in Haematology and/or Transfusion Medicine during the last three years, including the period spent in training for a post graduate examination in Haematology and/or Transfusion Medicine. They shall be eligible to vote as well as to contest for an office.
 

arrow  Life Members

The members will have an option of becoming life members after paying subscribed dues. Their status will automatically change to "Senior Member" after attaining the age of 60 years.
 

arrow  Associate Members

Associate members shall be those who possess the prescribed qualifications for a 'Member' but have not completed three years of active work in Haematology and /or Transfusion Medicine or those scientists who possess Ph.D or equivalent qualification (without a basic medical qualification) in the fields related to Haematology and /or Transfusion Medicine. They shall be eligible to vote but will not contest for an office.
 

arrow  Junior Members

Junior Members shall be those who possess M.B.B.S or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical and Dental Council and are registered students of postgraduate course in Haematology and /or Transfusion Medicine for atleast one year. They shall be eligible to vote but will not contest for an office.
 

arrow  Senior Members

Senior Members shall be those who have been members of good standing for at least five years, have attained the age of 60 years and have retired from the active work. they shall be eligible to vote but will not contest for an office. However if a member is elected to an office before attaining the age of 60 years, he/she will complete the normal tenure in the office. They will be eligible for membership and chairs of various committees formed for specific purposes including the Editorial Board of the Journal, but not of the executive committee. They will be exempt from the membership fee.

 

arrow  Honorary Members

Honorary Members shall be the persons with distinguished services in Medicine. They shall not be eligible to vote or contest for any office. They shall be exempt from membership fee.
 

arrow  Corporate Members

Corporate Members will be those who become members on payment of a fee of Rs, 5000.00 per annum. They will not be eligible to vote or contest for any office.
