Dear Colleagues,
We welcome all delegates to the HAEMCON 2023 this time in Lahore,
the second largest city of Pakistan and the capital of Punjab.
The unique history of Lahore dates to golden era of Mughal Empire and
finally part of Islamic Republic Pakistan. Lahore is also called cultural capital of Pakistan.
University of health sciences, first Health University in Punjab located in
the heart of the city producing a number of qualified graduates and postgraduates every year.
The university has a vision to bring qualitative and quantitative revolution in medical
education
and research through evolution. The Hematology department of UHS, has made significant
advancements over time with active participation in monthly/annual PSH meetings.
Pakistan society of Hematology (PSH) in collaboration with UHS is going to hold
25th annual Silver Jubilee meeting on 16th-18th February, 2023. The theme of the conference is
“ Translating Research into Clinical Practice”. Achievement of this theme requires
close
collaboration between hematologists, oncologists, professionals from allied health sciences and
research scientists.
Annual PSH conference is the platform where hematopathologists, clinical hematologists,
oncologists, Family Physicians, Technologists, nurses, researchers, and consultants from allied
specialties share and disseminate their cutting-edge research and knowledge. This year PSH is
involving undergraduate medical students in the conference as torch bearer for the future of
Haematology.
PSH stands tall with efforts of all its members. Therefore, we anticipate the active
participation of
every member of the fraternity.
